Funding opportunities specifically for jaguar conservation and research projects:

Chester Zoo, UK

Jaguar Small Grants

As part of their Jaguar Conservation Programme, Chester Zoo occasionally provides funding for projects with a focus on human-jaguar conflict through their Jaguar Small Grants. When available, the grants are advertised on the Chester Zoo website.

Panthera Foundation

Kaplan Awards Program (KAP)

A scholarship program that supports the conservation efforts of young biologists working on wild felids in situ. (Awards for all wild cat species accepted). More info.

Research and Conservation Grants

The Panthera Research and Conservation Grants Program support in situ conservation projects on large cats up to $25,000 per annum. More info.

Jaguar Small Grants

A partnership between the Liz Claiborne Art Ortenberg Foundation and Panthera, the LCAOF Jaguar Small Grants Program supports in situ conservation projects on Jaguars for up to $10,000 per annum. More info.
